Looking to enjoy your favorite brand of tobacco while enjoying a good concert film? Then skip this one, because you will probably be disappointed. I know I was.

Smokeout is a concert film, taped at the 2000 Smokeout festival in Los Angeles. This festival is basically a party to celebrate the wondrous effects of ganja, and hey, I got no problems with that. I do have a problem with boring hip hop acts that all sound the same. Maybe ol' Bobby needs to just stick with his Run DMC, EPMD, and Kurtis Blow, but folks, the Kotton Mouth Kings are not breaking any new ground. Even Snoop Dog and Cypress Hill (two acts that I really like) phone in boring performances here and if it wasn't for a fine performance from punk legends the Circle Jerks, this film would have really sucked.

Smokeout is for die hard Cypress Hill and Snoop Dogg fans only, and even then, you probably won't be overly impressed. For a music festival that was supposed to be all about creativity, this bong came up empty.
