News: New Nicolas Cage Film

DVD Confidential has the latest scoop on Nicolas Cage's latest flick, Lord of War.

Lord of War is an action adventure story set in the world of international arms dealing. It is scheduled for release on Septmber 16. The film, based on fact, follows the globetrotting exploits of arms dealer Yuri Orlov (Nicolas Cage). Through some of the deadliest war zones, Yuri struggles to stay one step ahead of a relentless Interpol agent (Ethan Hawke), his business rivals, even some of his customers who include many of the world’s most notorious dictators. Finally, Yuri must also face his own conscience.

Joining Academy Award-Winner Nicolas Cage (National Treasure, Adaptation, Leaving Las Vegas, Face Off, Con Air, The Rock) and Academy Award-Nominee Ethan Hawke (Taking Lives, Training Day, Gattaca, Reality Bites, Dead Poets Society) in the stellar cast are Bridget Moynahan (I Robot, The Sum of All Fears, The Recruit, Coyote Ugly), Jaret Leto (Panic Room, Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream, American Psycho) and Academy Award-Nominee Ian Holm (The Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, The Day After Tomorrow, The Sweet Hereafter, Alien).
